 Presented by:

10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

According to research by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), as many as 1 in 7 (15%) children are labeled with emotional or behavior disorders, disorders that interfere with relationships, participation in daily activities, and learning. Emerging research in cognition and neuropsychology calls for a different kind of therapeutic approach to promote self-regulation and social-emotional problem-solving, and improving academic achievement. Having many different sources and causes for both sensory and behavior issues, it is imperative those working with children with difficulties in these areas, be equipped with practical solutions to improve long-term outcomes of a child’s development.

Participants will learn evidence-based techniques that help children develop through these issueswhich are critical for the development of thinking and behavior in children. Participants will also learn practical strategies to address emotional behavior disorders, teach social Interaction skills, and help these individuals develop independent problem-solving skills that will generalize in their daily environment. Gaining these important solutions will equip you with the correct tools to implement tomorrow.
